For sale is the only Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA on offer in the U.K. This one owner, 2021/71 plate example is presented in GTA Red with black interior adorned with Carbon Fibre.
On 2 March 2020, Alfa Romeo introduced two new GTA and GTAm models which would have a limited production run of 500 units worldwide. They were developed to celebrate the marque's 110th anniversary in 2020. The GTA and GTAm use the same 540bhp engine and are 100kg lighter than the Quadrifoglio, allowing for a power to weight ratio of 2.82 kg/PS. The GTA weighs 1605kg and can accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds with launch control and head on to 186mph. The handling is improved by widening the front and rear track by 50mm. The car is fitted with single nut wheels for weight reduction measures. New springs, shocks, and bushes update the suspension as further means to improve the handling. The eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox has been retuned for the higher-spec application, and mated to a carbon fibre prop shaft and limited-slip differential. The car also has Carbon Ceramic Brakes cooled by bespoke ducting and Carbon Fibre Wheel Arch Extensions and a Carbon Fibre Roof.
The car also has the ‘experience package’ which includes a Bell racing helmet in special GTA livery, a full racing suit and a Goodwool car cover. Modifications to the engine include higher boost pressure from the turbochargers, an Akrapovic Exhaust system and redesigned pistons to ensure constant power and reliability; the piston cooling system now uses four oil jets instead of two as is the case on Quadrifoglio model.
