For sale is a a very rare special edition run-out model of the XKR. The “White Badge”
This particular 2006 MY example is presented in the stunning colour of Copper Black with Ivory Leather Interior. The 'White Badge' XKR 4.2 S was produced in small numbers worldwide, this car was hand sourced directly from Japan by a well-known trade partner of ours, we then sold the car to our customer who has cherished the car for 7 years. Since its time in the U.K., it has been maintained with no expense spared at the North Wales Jaguar Centre who are a highly-regarded specialist on the marque.
When imported in 2017 it was a GRADE 4 B example. This is one of the highest possible condition grades for a vehicle of this year, it is original throughout with original panels and no accident damage. All condition reports are in the file and mileage is also low for a vehicle of this age, which is all verified
.
In Europe the 4.2-S was unveiled at Geneva on 1 March 2005. This was the last XK to be rolled out that was based upon the original 1996 design. Features for the 4.2-S included new exterior and interior colours and two distinct veneer options for the instrument panel, polished door treadplates with chequered-flag emblems and embossed, leather-edged floor mats. The revised white Jaguar badge on the bonnet also feature chequered accents. New 19-inch Atlas wheels plus cross-drilled Brembo brake discs, red wheel badges and red brake callipers were also fitted.
This particular example has upgraded 20 inch split rim Perseus alloy wheels and beautiful Ivory Recaro sports interior. These are rare options. An XKR4.2 S coupe in this condition and with this specification, with such low mileage is almost impossible to find.
We believe this to be comfortably the best example available on today's market.
The fact it spent its first 12 years in the car-friendly climate of Japan, covering only 37000 miles, and then the last 7 years in a dehumidified garage and having been used sparingly, the condition is streets ahead of other UK examples.
The car has a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate showing it is what it pertains to be, there are many copycat and cloned cars out there. It has also featured on the O&DR Modural XK YouTube Channel when they required a 2006 MY example of the XKR 4.2 S.
This is a rare opportunity to buy the best of the XKR 4.2 S examples out there, in a beautiful specification and condition. Please do feel free to contact us if you have any further queries.
